The optional interface elements may be moved to different locations along an edge of the MAMBO application window or to a different region on your screen.

To move a docked window element,

  1. Grab the double vertical lines at the left edge of the window element by pressing down the left mouse button with the cursor aimed somewhere on the double vertical lines.
  2. Move the mouse with the left mouse button pressed down. The window element remains in its previous position until the left mouse button is released. An outline of the window element shows the new position of the window.
  3. Release the mouse button when the window outline is in the desired position.

To move a freely floating window element,

  1. Grab the name bar of the window element by pressing down the left mouse button with the cursor aimed somewhere in the name bar.
  2. Move the mouse with the left mouse button pressed down. Again, the window element remains in its previous position until the left mouse button is released. An outline of the window element shows the new position of the window.
  3. Release the mouse button when the window outline is in the desired position.

The outline that appears when the left mouse button has been pressed down on the name bar of a freely floating window element or on the double vertical bars of a docked window element takes one of two forms.

  • When the outline is a thin solid black line, releasing the left mouse button will result in the window element being docked to the corresponding edge of the application window in the available position closest to the current position of the outline.
  • When the outline is a thick checkered grey line, releasing the left mouse button will result in a freely floating window element.
Freely floating window elements are not constrained to the area of the screen covered by the MAMBO application window.
