The central grey region within the MAMBO application window is the MAMBO workspace.
The workspace can be populated with project-specific windows that display
- A visual representation of the project geometry in an 'Animation View' window;
- The current MAMBO dataset in a 'List View' window;
- The names and current values of MAMBO state variables and MAMBO parameters in a 'State View' and 'Parameter View' window, respectively; and
- A visual representation of the tree structure representing the MAMBO project in a 'Geometry View' window.
These project-specific windows can be opened by selecting the corresponding menu item under the 'Window->New' submenu or by the corresponding keyboard short-cut shown next to the menu item.
You can have more than one copy of any one of the project-specific windows open at one time. This is particularly useful for 'Animation View' windows that show a visualization of the project geometry, since this allows you to view your mechanism from different viewpoints.
